September 12: Tao Lin and Justin Marks

Tao Lin is the author of SHOPLIFTING FROM AMERICAN APPAREL, out in September from Melville House Publishing, and four other books, including EEEEE EEE EEEE and YOU ARE A LITTLE BIT HAPPIER THAN I AM. He has a blog at http://heheheheheheheeheheheehehe.com/.

Justin Marks’ first book is A Million in Prizes (New Issues Press). He is also the author of several chapbooks, the most recent being Voir Dire (Rope-a-Dope Press). New work can be found in Effing Magazine, Harp & Altar, Raleigh Quarterly, Sixth Finch and Tusculum Review. He is the founder and editor of Kitchen Press Chapbooks and lives in New York City

September 19: Katie Degentesh and Dan Magers

Katie Degentesh is the author of The Anger Scale. She lives in New York City.

Dan Magers is a graduate of The New School's MFA program and is co-editor of Sink Review (sinkreview.org), an online poetry magazine. His chapbook Exploitation Poems was published in 2007, and he's had poems published in the tiny, Red China Magazine, and Thirteen Myna Birds. Originally from the dark heart of the Midwest, he currently works in publishing and lives in Brooklyn.

September 26: Anthony Hawley, Nate Pritts and Laura Sims

Anthony Hawley grew up in New England and was educated at Columbia University. He is the author The Concerto Form (2006) and the chapbooks "Afield" (Ugly Duckling Presse) and "Vocative" (Phylum Press). His poems have appeared in various publications including Denver Quarterly, The New Republic, The Paris Review, 26, and Volt. He currently lives in Nebraska.

Nate Pritts is the author of two full length books of poetry - Sensational Spectacular and Honorary Astronaut - with a third, The Wonderfull Yeare, due out in early 2010. The founder & editor of H_NGM_N, Nate teaches poetry for the Downtown Writers Center/YMCA in Syracuse, NY.

Laura Sims is the author of two books of poems: Practice, Restraint, (winner of the 2005 Fence Books Alberta Prize), and Stranger (Fence Books, 2009). She is a co-curator of the Segue Series @ Bowery Poetry Club, a co-editor of Instance Press, and a lecturer at Baruch College. She lives in Brooklyn, New York

October 3: Shanna Compton, Nada Gordon and Amy King

Shanna Compton is the author of For Girls (& Others) (Bloof Books, 2008), Down Spooky (Winnow, 2005), GAMERS (Soft Skull, 2004), and several chapbooks. Her poems and essays have appeared widely, including Best American Poetry 2005, McSweeney's, the Poetry Foundation website, and the forthcoming Flarf anthology. Recent poems and an essay may be found in the tenth anniversary issue of LIT. She blogs desultorily at shannacompton.com.
